It was the perfect day (sunny, but with a nice breeze) and everyone was keen on having a good time. Afterwards we went to the Devens Grille and had the tastiest hamburgers I've had in a while.
I may just like that day because it's recent, but I also remember having the most fun which for me (an annual sufferer of the birthday blues) is a rarity.

Funny, I just made a Facebook status about this. My mom makes samosas which is like a fried tortilla pocket filled with meat and veggies (like spinach and whatnot). It's literally the tastiest thing in the world and I could eat like 5 (before I get sick and I have to stop).
I would love to be Oprah for a week. I would love to have that kind of influence and to be able to change someone's life in one instant. I would take the week to give to children's hospitals, visit with orphans, and maybe help build homes for the homeless. You know...Oprah stuff.
I learned to be extremely comfortable with myself because life is all the more wonderful when you know who you are.
I would love to live in Stars Hollow on Gilmore Girls. I would love to play either a kooky townsperson that owns a boutique or antique store, or I would be a very studious Yale student.
"Hazy" by Rosi Golan and William Fitzsimmons makes me think about my three friends who are going away for college this fall. They became my unexpected soulmates during high school. One lyric in particular "If I forgot who I am/Would you remind me?" reminds me how much we knew each other and supported each other in drama and everything else we went through in school and in life.

My least favorite movie has to be Twilight. It's not so much the terrible acting or what looked like amateur CGI (which was a huge problem with me) as it was the fact that the movie paled in comparison to the book. I had read the first book and fell completely in love with it. I have to admit that the love story was mushier than I would have liked. But regardless, I was itching to see how Edward was portrayed having been described countless times as an "Adonis." I suspended my reader's bias and watched the movie and was appalled by it. Edward was this pale scrawny dude with weird teeth and Bella was just so damn pathetic. She was cheeky and self-reliant (for the most part) in the book, but she was just really annoying in the movie. I had love Kristen Stewart in Speak, but watching this movie made me uncomfortable watching her be awkward and gawky.

"Clarity" by John Mayer comes to mind.
My first album would probably be named "Get in On This Happiness." I tend to say that alot and since "Shit Just Hit the Fan" would be inappropriate, it will have to do.
When I was a kid (which was not that ling ago since I'm 17) there were less than half of the number of kids getting in trouble as there are today. Letting kids get out and run around releases pent up energy and gets them moving. I think part of the reason we're seeing high rates of childhood obesity, childhood type 2 diabetes, and young kids getting in so much trouble is because they're cooped up all day in class as America tries to catch up to Asia in Math and Science. The mental and emotional well being of our kids should be our priorities. Then at least we have a chance at raising a smart and stable new generation.
